Good morning. On this Tuesday episode of MORNING MOTIVATION with Dale Jones, we continue our weeklong Thanksgiving series based on your emails. Today, we look at an email from Bryan talks to us about his families traditions, and then Dale chimes in with a few of his own.
I will share a tradition that my wife and I started a few years ago as our immediate family began to grow as an extended family with our two sons marriages and the increased demands for everybody to be everywhere on Thanksgiving Day. My wife and I decided to pack up our bags and head out of town fir a unique Thanksgiving Day “weekend” (Wednesday thru Saturday)... our first trip was to Charleston, SC, to experience the unbelievable Thanksgiving Day buffet at a famous hotel in scenic downtown Charleston... a couple of years later we traveled to Savannah... we would rise and shine bright and early on Sunday morning and head back home where we were going to be hosting a unique Thanksgiving Day “leftovers” family gathering, which helped relieve the burden of everybody desperately trying to be everywhere on the traditional Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day and the chaotic hustle and bustle and on the road travels... out of the box but a unique family tradition that we are working being an annual Thanksgiving tradition for our family and grandchildren. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 to all!
